Whatever you know us by, we hope you know that we serve Albion by rallying our most valuable resource – our people—our volunteers. You may have seen the winds of change in Albion—and AVSO has been there – as a hub for volunteers –

Connecting...

... 1,500 volunteers -- both city and college -- for the “Victory for Kids” playground build

... Mentors and at-risk youth –- fostering a love of learning

... Albion College resources to the community of Albion

We’ve made it our mission to promote a passion for volunteering here in Albion. This includes working to see that every child be a volunteer, because it is through this that we learn. Students who are engaged care! The Volunteer Center is also known as the hub –- the connecting point -- for all volunteer projects in Albion.

When any non-profit group or project needs volunteers – the place to go is AVSO. And we also provide services – including copies, computer access, and meeting space to our members. Our programs, accomplishments and members are listed on our web site.

But we do need another resource to keep things going at AVSO. We need your generosity and contributions so that we can continue to be the “heart of Albion.” We can keep your dollars working harder by making them go further – through volunteers – making Albion a better place- a place where people help people, and youth are motivated to pitch in -- and to learn.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your help – your time and your financial contributions. Over the past 15 years that AVSO has been here, you have been here for us. We look forward to many more.
